Mosquito Test

The eyes! While the added simulation might feel a tad floaty, this test does an awesome job at showing us some fun timing on a cartoony eye bulge.

Check out how the overlap on the expansion, the scale, and the timing change between the two eyes plays a fun role in this!

Created by Celement Vaucelle, to showcase his rig setup.
Would love to do a few tests with it!

Watch it in slow motion and frame by frame!

Gangsters V Gators

Tuesday, March 29th, 2016

There’s something particularly cool about old school 90’s animation. Maybe its a mix of held frames, making snappy timing stand out even more during such extensively held frames. It might also be the complete freedom of experimentation with designs, much of which would look awkward in 3D.

Either way, Gangsters V Gators has a cool style, interesting timing, and an overall cool vibe. These few minutes made me more satisfied than 2 hours of Batman V Superman 😉

Frame by Frame it and slow motion here!
